Level Four Integration - Execution: Halifax

May 3rd-5th

GoodLife Fitness: 720 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, NS B4E 1R7

This course is focused on the fundamentals of strength training, with a hands-on approach to proper execution of the squat, press and deadlift. Simple progressions for each movement are integrated with key mobility and stability markers needed in order for clients to progress loads safely and effectively. The model taught here ensures that clients don't overreach in their pursuit of strength, and that they establish a strong foundation in order to reach their strength goals, both now and in the future.

Level Three Assessment - Preparation: BRADFORD
May 10th-12th, 2019

GoodLife Fitness: 553 Holland St W, Bradford, ON L3Z 0C1

This course teaches instruction to provide proper functional assessments of the shoulder and hip, and a method approach to apply interventions for common dysfunctions of both. The approach teaches trainers the critical thinking tools necessary to troubleshoot and generate individual strategies that may vary from client to client, and easy to follow progressions and algorithms make for a seamless integration of the approach into every client’s training session. The course is intended to provide a trainer with the confident ability to both screen for dysfunction and properly educate clients on movement preparation strategies necessary to ensure that they remain healthy through the continuum of their training.
